Brasileirão 2009: quel suspense!

The 36th day of the Brazilian championship, which took place over the weekend, was once very rich in emotions, but has not yet issued any definitive verdict, nor for the championship nor for relegation!

The fight for the championship is still undecided, although the triple champion, São Paulo, appears to have consolidated his position, despite losing ground in Rio. Indeed, Botafogo, fighting to not go down, played a great game in its lair Engenhão (pictured above-cons), returning twice the scoring against the armada paulista, and even allowing to pass in mind the very end of the match, following a feat of attacking Jobson (who will not finish the match, the smart aleck who removed his shirt for joy after having had a yellow card!). The match ended with the cheers of the public botafoguense, 3-2 for alvinegros ! Images of the highlights of this match, considered one of the finest in the 2009 championship, are below:

And why So São Paulo, with the defeat and remains stuck at 62 points, he finally win? Because Flamengo has not been able to take advantage of this misstep, conceding a draw 0-0 pitiful face of Goias, on the lawn of mythical Maracana, and this in front of more than 85,000 torcedores melt! Goias Team Brasilia, which however does not play anything this season, has magnificently stood the test (admittedly sluggish) of rubro-negros in a match austere and closed when clear chances can be counted on the fingers of hand. Goias has withstood so much so that some people imagine a dirty trick of São Paulo, in the form of a jar of wine (the famous maleta branca here) for a favorable outcome - Angelim Ronaldo, defender Flamenguistas has even speaking of a sum of 300,000 R $! Brazil too strong these!

The fact remains that Flamengo lost a golden opportunity to turn the head to the first time this season, with two games remaining! With 61 points now, it remains a point behind rival paulista, but especially with a schedule more complicated (more on that later) ...

bottom of the ranking, the situation also remains tense and exciting, following victories combined Botafogo and Fluminense (beautiful weekend for soccer carioca!). Botafogo, we saw how, and Fluminense, who continues his incredible comeback in the standings, with a clearcut victory 3-0 in the field of Sport relegated. Fred, the former Lyon (pictured), was still marked, and Conca (very big player one, an Argentinian 26 years that would look good in a European team) once again was huge (8.5 out of 10 in Lance!).
result, Botafogo is 16th with 44 points and first non-relegation zone, level on points with Atletico and threatened Coritiba-PR (two clubs southern state of Parana), Fluminense and follows closely with 42 points! The next day

may be decisive at the top and bottom of the ranking: São Paulo to Brasilia, Goias ... plays and goes to the Corinthians Flamengo Ronaldo! If MS wins, the title should be folded ... the lights receiving the last Sport on the final day. For his part, moves from Botafogo Atletico-PR, for a duel with knives and a 6-point game, and receives in his den Fluminense Maracana Vitoria (presumably saved with 47 points). Result, if he wins Flu out of the relegation zone for the first time in 28 days! A rescue would be incredible but is now an option!
